Bernie Rock is currently (since November 2014) the Owner and President of NTL, LLC (Nitrogen Trade and Logistics), fertilizer consulting and project development firm. From July 2012 to October 2014, he was the Vice President, Ammonia-North America at Trammo, Inc., a company involved in commerce, trade, transportation, distribution and marketing of fertilizer, chemicals, methanol, crude oil, LPG and petrochemicals. He was responsible for purchase, sale and distribution for their North American ammonia system. His procurement experience in this role included the negotiation of supply agreements for both product and transportation, short and long term. He also played a key role in acquisition of strategic assets. Prior to this, from June 2010 until June 2012, he was the Sr. V.P. Fertilizer Sales at PotashCorp, nitrogen, phosphate and potash producer. He was responsible for the domestic and international sales organization for all Fertilizer products. PotashCorp was recognized as the world's largest fertilizer producer based on capacity. From June 2000 until June 2010, he was V.P. Industrial Sales at PotashCorp. He was responsible for purchase, sales and trade of seaborne ammonia as well as sales of all domestic Industrial Chemical products. This role as the manager of the company's seaborne trade of Ammonia remained with him throughout his changing responsibilities for the remainder of his career. Mr. Rock has over 30 years of leadership and contribution in the N, P and K fertilizer industry. With his involvement and responsibility as senior manager, he has experience in strategic business development and implementation. His ongoing involvement and awareness of the changing dynamics of global supply and demand balances and changing trade flows, make his analysis current and insightful.
