Responsibilities
Develop and promote a common global HSE template for repeated success in new project implementation and within the RTX environment;
Lead collaboration between Product Groups to develop and implement this template consistently and reproducibly at all new projects and within the RTX environment;
Provide embedded HSEC support to Rio Tinto Exploration (RTX) global functional team and the Technology and Innovation Project Development (PD) Group's project Management Office (PMO);
Provide support to RTX and PD to implement this template consistently and reproducibly within those businesses;
Ensure that RTX and PD are in alignment with Rio Tinto HSEC policies and conform with Group performance standards;
Ensure that Rio Tinto strategies are applied during the appropriate project phase to manage HSEC related business risks; and
Ensure that HSEC systems and procedures are implemented as appropriate for the project phase and within the RTX environment.
