He has over a decade of high growth success working for companies that need to establish and expand their Federal practice. He has completely developed and implemented the prospecting, selling, capture and teaming strategies at numerous professional services and software firms in the Washington DC area. From January 2013 to December 2013 (1 year) Director of Government Sales @ -- Personally closed over 9M dollars in software sales in a five year period at a privately held two year old software startup - outperforming expectations every year. -- Formed and shaped the business strategy, process development, team growth, and overall company culture. -- Built the Federal client base from the ground up while also breaking into new accounts and verticals annually. From June 2007 to January 2008 (8 months) Senior Consultant @ -- Responsible for business development within the DoD/Intel business unit focused primarily on the Intel customer space. Grew consulting staff at NGA by 300%. -- Managed client relationships beginning to end to include business development requirements and daily financial management of large Touchstone government contracts. -- Acted as lead consultant/facilitator for multiple Senior Executive management offsites to include resolution of personnel, financial, infrastructure, and technology issues -- Led multiple person teams focused on investment decision-making, portfolio analysis and management, organization design, and best practices research -- Provided decision-making support to government senior executives using a transparent, repeatable and inclusive process. This support included creation and establishment of a governance structure, development of high-level metrics, development and implementation of a communications plan, alignment of resources, and facilitation support. From 2005 to June 2007 (2 years) Consultant @ -- Facilitated and led the development of Master Scenario events list for the TOPOFF 2-3 exercises at DHS. -- Managed the relationship between DHS government executives and the state of Connecticut in support of the National Exercise Program. -- Conducted "Red Team" operations as part of a national program designed to test regional infrastructure. From December 2003 to 2005 (2 years)
