Bridging the gap between strategic direction and execution may be the single biggest challenge faced by businesses today. It’s the hardest part of transformation.
As a business consultant for Capgemini, I’m constantly presented with great opportunities to help companies find a way to see their strategic visions become a reality. Organizations often underestimate the significance of operating model refinements necessary to effect transformation across people, process, technology, data management and risk management.
During the past two years of providing business analysis and project management, I’ve helped organizations find a way by providing critical thinking, identifying and resolving roadblocks, managing risks, and delivering creative solutions. In some cases that work takes the form of fundamental blocking and tackling like conducting gap analysis and defining timelines, requirements, and budgets. In other cases it’s context setting like drafting proposals and liaising with clients.
Most recently, our team was successful in implementing an Enterprise Asset Management system for 4,500 users that significantly reduced their operating costs and allows them to maximize the productive use of their assets.
I’ve been fortunate to work with some great mentors in conjunction with my educational background in Strategic Management at Texas A&M University and an International Certification program completed in The Netherlands. It’s prepared me to work with a wide variety of people and industries that want to create a sustainable and competitive strategy.
I am truly passionate about my work and solving the ever present “air sandwich” challenge. I am always eager to connect with former colleagues, business consultants, and others who share my passion, so please feel free to contact me if you would like to connect.
