The Day to Day Responsibilities:
-Be the contact point for all clients, this means being the main facilitator of all campaigns for ads, content and events. It also means answering all their questions and ensuring they are receiving thoughtful and targeted multi-media campaigns
-Getting feedback and results on the success of marketing campaigns to provide to clients
Innovate and ideate ways to give value additions to the best and most loyal clients
-Attend meetings with sales reps, learn the art of the sale and more importantly, how to renew a client
-Coordinate Bisnow events From February 2015 to Present (11 months) Greater Los Angeles AreaEvents Concierge @ This position is responsible for performing daily tasks that align with the department’s long term goals and objectives, support management and leadership, provides excellent customer service and telephone etiquette, and actively aspires to reach defined goals and objectives. A summary of the duties include, although are not limited to: preparing all meeting materials for pre-conference meetings; making copies for guests using the conference space; assisting with shipping and receiving of conference materials or equipment; assisting banquets with refreshing all conference spaces; making all necessary signage for guests and meeting planners; keeping track of group breaks and communicating to banquets and to Housekeeping Public Area teams; ensuring all requests in Banquet Event Orders (BEO’s) are delivered; directing guests to correct event areas and functions; assisting guests and meeting planners with any special requests; assisting with proper delivery of amenities; ensuring proper room table set-ups and equipment are in the correct meeting rooms; communicating with Purchasing/Delivery Department regarding shipping and receiving of group boxes; posting proper group charges to correct master accounts; assisting with bride and groom’s rooms; accurately tracking wedding gifts for guests; assisting with ceremony set-up and clean-up of bridal suite; creating doors signs and placing the door signs at the correct rooms; running Delphi reports; and using proper phone etiquette in all conversations.
The Event Concierge allows the client a single point of contact for any immediate needs, such as AV equipment, room temperature, tables/chairs, etc. The Event Concierge contacts the appropriate departments within the resort to satisfy the guests’ needs.
The Event Concierge acts as a liaison and maintains open lines of communications between Meeting Planner, Event Management, Banquet Culinary team and the service staff to provide the highest level of service. From August 2012 to February 2015 (2 years 7 months) Server @ Take orders for and serve all food and beverage requests, using suggestive selling techniques. Recommends food and beverage items to the guest and has a thorough knowledge of the menus. Clear tables during service and quickly reset tables. Control guest checks and secure proper payment. Utilize hotel resources to WOW our guests to create emotional attachments and lasting memories.
Ensure station and table set-ups are complete and perform various side duties as assigned by the Outlet Supervisor and Manager.
