Software Consultant @ Terravolv Designed, developed, maintained, managed, and tested a web based application that operated independently of platform and browser; this application utilized Google Maps API to draw, manipulate, export and import geographical data that analyzed the coverage area used in order that cost analysis could be displayed to the user. The controls and services used for this application utilized a combination of ASP .NET 3.5, C# .NET 3.5 and HTML. From December 2008 to May 2009 (6 months) Senior Software Analyst @ Intergraph Design, develop, maintain, and test software that law enforcement officers will use for field reporting. Develop a rules engine that can be defined, in a configurable manner, on per site and per agency basis that will perform validation on all business objects using the Windows Workflow Foundation. All graphical user interfaces (GUI) are developed using the Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), C# .NET 3.5 and C# .NET 4.0 while still maintaining a Model, View, Controller programming concept. Data is communicated to and from a SQL Server or Oracle database, depending on the customer, using data access objects for all communications. Lead developer for the Property and Evidence module, Citation Issuing module, configuration utility program, digital signature capture, magnetic license swipe and validation rules engine. From March 2008 to January 2011 (2 years 11 months) Software Consultant @ Pinstripe Inc. Rewrote legacy code for web site and web services written in C# .NET 3.5 and ASP .NET 3.5. Web site was used to automate meeting announcements, automate e-mail notifications, schedule future events\meetings and check in\out attendees of a given event\meeting. Data regarding these meetings were stored and retrieved a Microsoft SQL Server 2005 database using SQL queries and built in functions and stored procedures. Many queries and procedures needed to be rewritten to fit the new requirements of the web site. From August 2008 to October 2008 (3 months) Software Engineer IV @ SAIC Designed, developed and maintained software that would graphically display, to the user, and programmatically validate constraints and restrictions particular to the specific unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) that is to be used; the display simulated a control station that allowed a pilot to plan and fly missions remotely and the program thoroughly used COM and .NET interoperability and required a significant understanding of the codes written in C# .NET 3.0, C++ and Visual Basic, Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 or greater, as well as Microsoft Enterprise Library 2.0, which was extensively used throughout the program. During the process of writing codes, the actual time spent was logged using the Team Software Process (TSP) workbooks; the process included unit testing, reviewing, designing, and inspecting all new development. From December 2006 to March 2008 (1 year 4 months) Software Engineer I @ SAIC Designed, developed, and maintained software that would graphically display, to the user, data that was specific to the user’s selected aircraft; this code was written in C# .NET 2.0, C++ and Visual Basic using Microsoft Visual Studio.NET 2.0 and Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0. The iCommand program is a suite of software and services that collectively can be used for displaying real time mission data, audio, video and imagery on touch table, web-based, desktop\laptop and android smartphone interfaces for Government\Federal customers. The iCommand program was developed using C# .NET, XAML, C++.NET, ASP.NET and HTML in the Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 - 2010 development environment as well as Java in the Eclipse development environment. Implemented a configuration tools and standards using Enterprise Library 5.0 for the entire team and other teams within the entire project. Implemented a Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) service that allowed client machines to view, manage and schedule batch operations that performed the data translations.
