Director, System Employee Relations @ Leading a transforming practice of Employee Relations to drive an engaged and high performing workforce through work environment interventions and education. Our team delivers by engaging as trusted advisers to leaders and trusted advocates to employees with a focus of delivering strategic, proactive HR through a deep understanding of the business and a culture of trust and transparency with expertise in Employment Law. Additionally, we host accountability for all HR policies, compliance initiatives, and all workplace investigative and case management initiatives. Our consultative approach leverages HR Business Partners to influence strong business outcomes and brings a global organizational perspective related to Employee Relations matters. From August 2013 to Present (2 years 5 months) Greater Grand Rapids, Michigan AreaDirector, System Talent Acquisition @ Responsible for leading and transforming talent attraction and selection to deliver exceptional experiences to all candidates and hiring managers across the Spectrum Health System (including Priority Health). The role encompassed significant change management, thought leadership and success practices in the areas of branding, marketing, careers site development, social media, mobile strategy, policy alignment and implementation, developmental leadership, an ATS implementation, onboarding and talent transformation through both a consultative approach and development of deeper sourcing capabilities - all while earning a Lean Human Capital award for "Elite" operational efficiency and a CandE (Candidate Experience) Award through the North American Talent Board. From January 2012 to August 2013 (1 year 8 months) Greater Grand Rapids, Michigan AreaDirector, Talent Acquisition @ Led, managed and directed the identification, attraction and selection of the industry's top talent to Spectrum Health Hospitals while providing an exceptional recruitment and onboarding experience. Executed organizational strategic planning objectives and process improvement initiatives. Consulted with leadership and staff on complex employment issues. Maintained overall accountability for applicant tracking database integrity, reporting and accuracy. Delivered results through a transforming team of recruitment professionals.
