The project involved revolutionary new design approaches, reflective of a detailed market and customer analysis. The project was high profile and involved the management of stakeholders at director level and I managed a team of 15 people. • Project Budget £1 million: I was accountable for the end-to-end delivery of the mobilisation of the Sainsbury’s food website. The project involved simplifying the online shopping journey to appeal to the time conscious customer. The project involved stakeholders at director level and I managed the team of 10 people. • Project Budget £0.5 million: I was responsible for the end to end delivery of a portfolio of high-profile digital projects utilising new technology such as QR tags, digital payments and augmented reality. I managed the research and development of new products, this involved detailed competitor and market analysis. The key was to understand the core customer and to focus on projects that would improve the customer journey. • I was accountable for the agencies and development companies from overseas. • All projects followed the agile project methodology to ensure that the projects were delivered quickly to enable competitive advantage. • Assisted the senior management in creating the digital strategy, this involved detailed market and customer and competitor analysis. The key stakeholders for this project were senior directors. From November 2011 to September 2012 (11 months) London, United KingdomSENIOR E-COMMERCE PROJECT MANAGER @ Company: Marks & Spencer Role: Senior E-commerce Project Manager • Accountable for the end-to-end delivery for a portfolio of high-profile concurrent ecommerce projects including shopping websites, social media applications, mobile websites and applications. • Project Budget £1 million: Accountable for the end-to-end delivery of a million pound project website which delivered over £50 million sales revenue. The project introduced a new logistics mechanism, a new store replenishment process nationwide and a new customer-ordering channel. The project involved large business changes across all sectors and the project was delivered to a very tight schedule to meet the Christmas release. The project involved key stakeholders at Director level from across the business, there were 15 senior stakeholders to manage. I was accountable for the management of the project team of 20 people. The project was highly complex; it delivered updated processes to many business areas and within the critical trading period. • Project Budget £1 million: I supported other projects using new technologies, such as in store touchscreen devices and QR tag ordering systems. • For all these projects I managed third party offshore testing and resources, working closely with TATA Consultant Services and Cognizant Technology Solution. From October 2010 to December 2011 (1 year 3 months) SAP PROJECT MANAGER @ Company: Marks and Spencer Role: Senior SAP Project Manager • Project Budget £100 million: Accountable for the delivery of a key work stream as part of the SAP Business Warehouse implementation across foods and General Merchandising. • Accountable for a team of 6, analysts and IBM consultants, to deliver an SAP solution that enabled M&S for the first time to have accurate stock visibility. The use of SAP introduced large-scale business changes, which impacted on all areas of the company. The overall programme was the largest investment in Marks and Spencer’s history. • Managing third party logistic development changes from 25 companies over 12 different countries. • Accountable for each company’s development project, which I managed to ensure all deployments were released successfully, to a very tight schedule. From February 2010 to October 2010 (9 months) FINANCE PROJECT MANAGER @ Company: Marks and Spencer Role: Finance Project Manager • Project Budget £1 million: Accountable for the end-to-end delivery of IT projects for the finance department. • Implementing the government increase of VAT, this involved co-ordinating 22 legacy system changes. From October 2009 to February 2010 (5 months) PORTFOLIO LEAD @ Responsible for the administration of project approvals and finances for the IT Group Supported all of the IT senior management in completing detailed analysis and discovery activities. One of these activities was detailing how to improve the customer services centre. My analysis framed a proposal which was successful in launching two core projects which improved the quality of customer service and reduced the overheads. From October 2008 to February 2010 (1 year 5 months) BUSINESS ANALYST @ Responsible for the delivery of projects within the foods section of the business. Implemented SAP Business Intelligence; this project delivered a suite of web based reports that gave buyers and merchandisers the facility to interrogate data.
