Responsible for Schneider Electric’s IoT platform EcoStruxure, an open and interoperable system architecture designed to maximize ROI.This role built on Andy's extensive experience of driving IT and OT convergence at large fortune 500 customers. Specifically, Mr. Bennett's team works with customers to intelligently connect their assets with edge control and cloud-based data analytics to drive value. From August 2017 to September 2018 (1 year 2 months) Boulder, COSenior Vice President, Strategic Accounts and Solutions @ SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC Presided over the management of Strategic Accounts and Solutions execution in North America. These accounts represent the direct end-user market for Schneider Electric in the US for the following targeted segments: Utilities, Data Centers, O&G, WWW, MMM, Food & Bev, Automotive, Microgrid, and Health Care. Additional responsibilities include project and solution execution in North America. From January 2016 to August 2017 (1 year 8 months) Boulder, COVice President Energy @ Telvent Responsibilities for Mr. Bennett included the management of Telvent’s NA Utilities Business as well as the global Geographic Information Systems (GIS) business (former Miner and Miner), collectively a 340 person group executing $75M a year in revenue. This business unit included R&D, Sales, Delivery, and Operations focused on delivering SCADA, DMS, OMS, and GIS to over 650 utilities world-wide. In addition, Mr. Bennett had oversight of Telvent’s NA Automation manufacturing business based out of Houston, TX. Telvent was acquired by Schneider Electric June 2011. From August 2008 to January 2013 (4 years 6 months) Chief Operating Officer @ Telvent Miner & Miner Mr. Bennett was promoted to COO of Telvent Miner and Miner in 2007 to take over the management of the global Geographic Information Systems (GIS) business for the outgoing President and founder of Miner and Miner, a P&L of around $20M in total annual revenue. His responsibilities included the management of GIS R&D, Marketing, Sales, Operations, as well as Delivery for GIS representing a total staff of around 160 employees. MM was acquired by Telvent in Dec 2006. From January 2007 to January 2008 (1 year 1 month) Boulder, COSenior Vice President, Infrastructure & Automation @ SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC Mr. Bennett’s was responsible for the US Energy Business Unit for three years, a P&L of approximately $650M in annual turnover. Management of the Energy business unit included the oversight of sales, marketing, product execution, as well as R&D for the Medium Voltage and Automation business offer. From January 2013 to January 2016 (3 years 1 month) Boulder, CODirector of Account Management and Sales @ Miner and Miner Mr. Bennett’s responsibilities for Miner and Miner (MM) included the oversight of global sales. These sales were comprised of software, services, and maintenance. This position for Mr. Bennett included the management and oversight of Miner and Miner’s sales force, a group of 11 employees as well as channel sales stretching over 42 countries. A major focus of this position was the management and retention of existing strategic accounts through the use of large account management practices. Key focus was setting priorities and strategies for the sales and marketing team to maximize bookings. From January 2003 to January 2007 (4 years 1 month) Greater Philadelphia AreaNE Strategic Account Manager @ Miner and Miner Mr. Bennett was hired to open the east coast office for Miner and Miner. As the NE account manager his responsibilities included the ongoing support of existing client base, expansion of new sales opportunities, as well as up-sell opportunities within existing accounts. Over three years Mr. Bennett managed approximately 44 accounts. From January 2000 to January 2003 (3 years 1 month) Greater Philadelphia AreaGIS Manager @ The Louis Berger Group Mr. Bennett was responsible for the creation and management of a technical GIS department that focused on Federal, Utility, and DOD work.
