I spend most of my time working with our team leaders to ship great software across the spectrum of infrastructure, platform, web, and mobile. As founder, it's my job to make sure Quizlet sticks to its ideal of building software that empowers students. A big part of that task is hiring and enabling a team that deeply cares about both building a big business and having a meaningful positive impact in education. I work to ensure our team is deeply connected to the students and teachers we serve. Several times a month, our team goes to different schools around the Bay Area to observe Quizlet being used in classrooms. Talking to students and teachers is one of my favorite parts of my job.
