Prior to Joust, Amos served as Vice President of Customer Development for BlackLocus. Amos was responsible for all aspects of Sales and Business Development and charged with developing the and then executing the strategy. As part of those efforts Amos was responsible for closing The HomeDepot as a key customer which resulted in the acquisition of BlackLocus by The HomeDepot in December of 2012 (6 months later).
Amos was also CoFounder and served as COO of mySpoonful which was acquired in late 2011. MySpoonful is a leading music discovery service aimed at bringing new and undiscovered music to busy people. At mySpoonful, Amos was responsible for overseeing all day to day operations as well as strategic responsibility over sales, business development, product and marketing.
Prior to mySpoonful, Amos served on the Executive team of Business.com as Vice President of Sales and Client Services. At Business.com Amos was responsible for all aspects of sales, sales strategy and client services including process and system planning and implementation. In 2007 Amos was the sales lead in the acquisition of Business.com by R.H. Donnelly.
Prior to Business.com, Amos spent 5 years at HotJobs and later Yahoo!HotJobs. Amos was responsible for the development and expansion of the Account Management division where his responsibility was to build a resell division and to create corporate wide customer service strategies and processes. During Amos' tenure, HotJobs went through both an IPO as well as a being sold to Yahoo!
