Amir Cohen is a product manager and strategist working in New York City. Amir is the founder and CEO of Green Blender.
Previously, Amir worked at Open Air Publishing (acquired by Inkling Systems, Inc) as the VP of Product. Open Air Publishing creates digital-first interactive non-fiction books for the iPad and iPhone. At Open Air Publishing, Amir worked with a small team to ship award-winning titles, and helped to create and implement an efficient product development cycle for this new type of medium. He also built, maintained, and iterated through several web and mobile properties and internal production tools.
Prior to working at Open Air Publishing, Amir worked at CollegeHumor Media (acquired by IAC) for 5 years. Beginning as a Front End Engineer, Amir quickly grew into a leadership role as VP, Product Development. Amir owned the product strategy and roadmap for several web and mobile properties (CollegeHumor, BustedTees, Dorkly, SportsPickle) which collectively reach over 15 million monthly unique visitors. He also managed the day-to-day operations and development cycle for the design and technology team of 12.
Amir earned his B.S. in Cognitive Science, Human Computer Interaction at the University of California, San Diego, with a minor in Computing in the Arts.
