I am a research masters student in Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University.
I am excited about the impact of machine learning and state-of-the-art distributed systems technology. My interests lie in scalable machine learning, natural language processing and computational biology. At present, I am working on probabilistic graphical models and neural networks for network inference.
I am very passionate about scalable software design in general. I have almost 2.5 years of experience in writing testable code and scalable RESTful APIs.
I have also worked on organising and innovating for some of the biggest college events in India.
Startups and innovation excite me. Feel free to contact me via email if you have an interesting opportunity for me.
Graduate Research Assistant @ Research areas include Machine Learning and Computational Biology. I am supported by a Graduate Research Fellowship.
At present, my research is in the areas of Probabilistic Graphical Models and Neural Networks for network inference and clustering. From August 2014 to Present (1 year 5 months) Greater Pittsburgh AreaSoftware Development Engineer @ Worked in the ECPS ( E-Commerce Platform Services) Team.
I specifically worked on designing and developing scalable RESTful services for infrastructure automation and security-related software. I gained extensive experience in software design, object oriented programming, test driven development and working on a live, production level system.
