As the Ariba Country Manager for Switzerland at Zurich Financial Services, I was responsible for the Ariba infrastructure, heavily supported by the Xoomworks team. Alex was the single point of contact for all German speaking countries. She was recognized by Zurich employees for her excellent communication skills, always keen to help out and driving the issue to the successful resolution. She is always patient, friendly, definitely a person you can rely on. Alex also proved her lingual skills in both English and German.
The highlight of our cooperation came when I got the Global eSourcing Lead role and had luck to get Alex to the team of eSourcing Champions I was responsible for. This is the list of her main responsibilities:
• Train buyers in German speaking countries in eSourcing, become a single point of contact for them
• Proactively recommend buyers new eSourcing opportunities based on the research in the Ariba Analysis data warehouse
