ION was a major initiative taken by Sprint to deploy multiple channels of voice, data, and video over a single line using ATM and DSL technologies. The development was done on various platforms using various ORBs. Worked on the infrastructure for ION and developed lifecycle, distribution, monitoring, trading, naming, and logging services for application components using C++ and Java. The configuration management tool used was Rational ClearCase. From 1998 to 1999 (1 year) Overland Park, KansasTeam Lead/Senior Developer @ Bellsouth Telecommunications Participated in the architecture, design, development, delivery, and production support of a system for ordering the local telephone service as part of Encore project.
